Tamale Event

“Tamales are treasures” - Mark Miller

Pre Colombian in design the Tamale is the original “to-go food.” From the Nahuatl “tamalii” the original tamales were meat and corn wrapped in banana leaves or corn husks and used to feed the on-the move armies of the Aztecs and Mayans. Today’s tamal can be filled with anything from chicken to lobster. Our Hot Tamale Menu explores the variation including the traditional fresh corn tamales and the exotic wild mushroom
